Yes, the SD2 is hypnotic to watch, and I COULD watch it all day, but I do have other things to do.

So aside from setting up a dedicated PC, with TeamViewer, to monitor Pronterface (yeh, I'm working up to the repetier/marlin update soon), I decided that a video feed from the SD2 might be helpful, and beyond the usefulness of it, it'd be mad cool, and I'd get all the girls. or not.

I grabbed one at Microcenter http://microcenter.com/product/361924/P … _USB_Cable for $4.99, and took it off it's included mount. (it was 4.99 last week...)

I wanted to mount it at the front, and didn't want to interfere with any movements in the printer, so this mounts to the front /top frame.

I already had printed some long, curved, perforated pieces but they weren't correct for my project, so I put one to use here as an arm. All I needed now was a clip to attach the arm to the SD2.

See: Frame Clip Cam Mount.stl

Just for the fun of it, I'll also include the part I am using as an arm.
See: ParameteredColor9RingQuarters.stl

So now I can start a print and go do whatever else, wherever else I choose, and when it's all done, I can shut down the extruder & bed remotely.

Just for the fun of it, i think I am going to adapt the extruder fan duct mount, to accommodate a small cam for an extruder's-eye-view... that'd make for some cool video...
