Would you say the problem seems to be with printing the lower half of round / spherical objects? I have also had issues where the outer walls of spherical layers seem to curl or expand above the current print height. This results in the print head crashing into those "raised" layers and messing up the print or separating it from the platform.

The attached pic shows a snowman ornament that I had this problem with. The top layers spilled over the round perimeter and you can see the nozzle is lower than the edges.

I was printing a whistle and have run into some problem and was wondering if it was my printer settings or the object itself.

Problem: The inside ball seems to have a different layer height? instead of the nozzle gliding just above the last layer it seems to dive into the last couple layers and extrude from there. Not sure if it was just a random build up in the first couple layers or I have something wrong with my layers heights.

The outside walls of the whistle print great.

Anyone else have this problem when first printing.

Thanks!
