Immediately after you make the circle, type in a number followed by 's' to set the sides. '50s' makes a 50 sided circle, which is smooth. The default is about half of this.

Export from Sketchup as .obj
Use Meshlab to convert to .stl
Fix .stl in Netfab
Slice and print.
