Well, I bit the bullet and ordered a new board.I was checking my purchase history and so far since I had my SD3 I bought over 400.00 worth of replacement parts.I didn't know cost of ownership would be that high for just one year.On a positive note, the squeaky wheel does get the grease.SD called me back and assured me of prompt shipment.

I have been trying to troubleshoot my hotend issue. I found a working heater( works outside SD) From this picture I am assuming there should be 12v across the 2 pins. Is that correct? If so I am not getting anything but I do get 12v from one pin to ground. The wiring harness is ok as I get same results at the extruder motor end.( credit to mohamd for pic)
