Hey Muddtt!
Talked with solidoodle this morning,
They seemed to have fixed it.

Told me to switch the x and y plugs from the back and test to see if it's a board problem or something (can't quite remember :S) however after that they said to switch it back then go to the dial for the X axis and turn it off (counter-clockwise) then keep turning it clockwise while pressing a movement for the x axis until it starts to go and when it does. STOP. Now test if it's moving more like the others. (my dial isn't at the 440 mark where it should its at like a 2 o'clock. (you'll see the dial with a line and 2 dots thats the arrow head for the dial)

I just did a test print and seems to be working smoothly now. Weird. Was I getting too much V for the stepper motor? Can someone with knowledge of the board tell me how the dial works?

Thanks! Muddtt I'll have a video for you if you want of the before and after sounds.

You need a certain number of posts before you can do videos and links. I'll post your video for you. Not sure...haven't even figured out why mine is noisy. Maybe it's partially the nature of the design or stepper. Yours definitely sounds sicker than mine. I think I can live with mine. I would contact solidoodle about yours and send them your video. Let us know what they say.

Musi09's Video:
