You should experiment with your retraction and restart values as they affect the blobs you are seeing, I haven't used skeinforge for a long time so no idea?? but I think a couple of people here still use it... maybe they will offer up some tuning suggestions.

Hello all,
I seem to be getting the odd gap in the perimeter on an otherwise good print. There are also "bobbles" on the outside of the perimeter present all the way up the layers. These seem to coincide with where each layer begins the print.
Here's what I have so far:

Solidoodle 2 - enclosed
Material: ABS 1.75mm
Temp: 210 1st layer, 200 rest
Bed: 105 degrees Kapton
Software: Repetier/Skeinforge
Brand new hot end
Level Bed
Calibrated flow and dimension

Could it simply be that the ABS is sometimes not getting pulled through (maybe tension on the rollers) that can cause these gaps in seemingly random places ? Also - what about the bobbles of plastic at the starting point - anyone else get these ?
Video attached as a photo did not show problem in enough detail.

Cheers
