Hopefully you held the thrust bearing compressed like the instructions said.

With the insulation in the wrong place, holding temperature could be challenging. Try it in the right location.

Power supply gets warm, should not exceed 60C.

Barrel moves slightly. I was able to move drill bit inside the barrel about half inch back forth, not sure why so i'll be looking into taking a pic inside some time soon.

Power supply is hot, motor is warm. Is that normal ?
Am off to goodwill getting a separate power supply for electronics to keep the pressure off the power supply, i dont think it can handle it all by its self without melting or frying at some point in time.

The thermal properties will change dramatically with the fan on, and the controller needs to be tuned in the condition it is operating. What is your target temperature? I can hold 195C within a degree no problem. Is your insulation flush with the nozzle as indicated in the instructions?

Can i have dual power supply ? I want to run heating unit separately. Can i use higher amp power supply to run the thermo unit and use old power supply to run motor only ?
That way i dont run into speed change of the motor when unit heats up.

Plus, it struggles to keep up the temp if you point the fan at the very tip of the nozzle or open the door. It kinda likes it warm sad
