I have just ordered the Solidoodle printer as it seems to be the best there is for hobby fun I have in mind. I am retired IT, and previously from Fire Service too. I look forward to the help you all show here in the forum. I have read all the basics and have RH Slicr3 Fabb etc as well as acquiring the basic start up items glass and that lovely boqueted Aqua net of old. I plan to follow forum advice on setting up first then printing the needed mk5 as well as dial indicator to tram with. I do have a background in Lathe and mill work at the hobby as well as professional level. I am inot rc for a very long time as well as robotics too so this falls right into my plans. Now to just wait wait wait to get the machine in.Not rushing them folks at solidoodle please take your time and make sure my unit goes out the door good.
