Thanks for all of the info. I've read a lot of tips scattered about the internet but knowing where to start helps a lot.

Would it make sense to go directly to glass for the best results? I have a really good source right around the corner so it wouldn't take much effort.

Hello Bms85 here is a link to the soliwiki you can find out how to calibrate your machine, mods, etc. The first thing that you want to do set the z offset screw and do an extruder calibration. You should also print out Lawsys MK5 extruder it will make it much easier then the jigsaw extruder if you ever get a clogg. In addition try kapton tape or blue painters tape on the platform to get good prints if that dosent work you can add a piece of glass everything is on the soliwiki or if not you can search it on the forum. Hope this helps.

http://wiki.solidoodle.com/solidoodle-1

http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:115659

Hello Everyone!

I'm a web developer in Cleveland area Ohio. I'm new to the forums and 3d Printing. I ordered A solidoodle 3 yesterday and am anxiously awaiting delivery.

I just wanted to say hi, Introduce myself and see if anyone has a recommended place to go for calibration instructions etc. From what I understand every printer on the market currently is going to need adjustments. Are there any can't live without resources anywhere I should be looking into?
