they must work in some context though or why bother having them in the package, are there ANY known workarounds ?

If I leave skeiniso enabled I get an exception after it has drawn the object, windows fatal beep and exception window pops up over skeinise, sometimes I can see the object, more often than not it is blank.
If I manually start skeiniso, I still get nothing, the py text script window says the window is from 99999999 to -99999999 (or similar)
I cant seem to zoom (not sure how to use skeiniso) .. what am I doing wrong ? is this just my machine or graphics card .. nvidia GT8600 i think.
Skeinlayer .. same deal, I get just a blank window.

I can sometimes trigger the same exception clicking the zoom? buttons down the bottom of the window.

its starting to be annoying.. documentation is pretty vague with skeinforge. googled the exception 0x40000016 from memory .. no results.

win xp pro ..
