Just finished up some stuff on my glass plate...then wondered what would be an easy way to readjust the Z screw back to the standard print bed without having to 1/4 turn the screw 24 times. So I printed a small L-shaped piece to screw on the Z screw just under the standard bracket, spaced the lower end of the L about the thickness of the glass, then all I need to do is turn the Z screw 1/4 turn to go from glass to standard or vice versa, then fine tune with the leveling screws.

Not that I'm planning on not using glass anytime soon, but what the heck...

I finally decided to add the ceramic tile to my filastruder bed. Got the tile and put it on, then went to adjust the bed stop screw so it wouldn't smash the extruder tip. Turns out the screw is way to short.

Not a problem, I thought, I'll get a longer one. 2 days of looking locally has resulted only in 1 offer for a longer one for 50 cents, but they have to order it and it will cost $4.00 shipping.

Anyone out there have a bed stop screw that is about 1 1/2 to 2 inches long (no the tile isn't that thick) that they would be willing to part with?

Thanks,

GWFAMI
