That part can be completely removed by removing the according steel rods.

Unfortunately most of this part is glued together permanently. How badly out of synch is it?

Glued together? Then how will I fix the Y-axis that was broken in shipping? Since the broken XY carriage was a common event, could you post replacement instructions for the affected parties?

So I have a bad extruder carriage and felt like I wanted to fix it and but it to a belt sander to make it flat, but.. How do you disassemble the X carriage? Are the X carriage rods glued in place in the black end pieces ?
