Ah, I hadn't noticed that. Looks like the wide line is the average and there is even a setting to let you select the time period (which was set to 2 minutes by default). Thanks for the pointer.

My theory is that the wide line is a time average temp over some duration and the thin line is plotting the temp as it is sampled, but I can't find any description that actually says this anywhere. Can anyone confirm this theory?
