The same goes for me, I wanted to purchase a 3d printer ever since I saw the makerbot cupcake, and when I saw an article on slashdot about the solidoodle, I knew it was the 3d printer for me.

Have wanted a 3d printer for a long time, really leapt on the Solidoodle because of the price point, but I also love supporting small American companies.
