			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>So I finally gave up on finding the issue and decided to replace the hotend wiring and all.&nbsp; When I started unplugging the hotend from the board I noticed the power plug for the extruder looked like the wires inside the connector were coming loose.&nbsp; replaced the connector and my issue seems to be solved</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;ve got kapton tape, I&#039;m referring to the black stretch insulator that is slipped on over the kapton tape.&nbsp; Or is that not that important?</p><p>I&#039;m not really sure how to describe it and can&#039;t take a picture right now but its black on the outside, stretch and appears to be white fabric on the inside.&nbsp; I assume its to retain heat.</p><br /><p>Thanks for the help, its good to not feel like your alone when you have a problem that you can&#039;t explain.&nbsp; This forum has been so much more responsive than the official support</p>]]></content>

I changed the thermistor and it did not help. When I re calibrated the PID the problem went away. There are simple to follow instructions on the solidoodle WIKI.
