			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I needed to print something quickly and turned the left rod a little bit (randomly). </p><p>The slant is seems to be much less severe now, so it looks like this is the right path to go down. Gonna do some calibration shapes when I can and see if I can&#039;t reduce it even less.</p><p>I&#039;ll post back with results when I&#039;ve got them.</p><p>Thanks for the help, guys <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" /></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Also mark the rods with a sharpie on the end so you can keep track of their orientation and also see if they may be moving/rotating as the bed moves.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>With a slant in the same spot/length/direction every time I would suspect that something is bent or otherwise not straight... have you tried rotating the z rods either one at a time or both together about their z-axis 90 or 180 degrees... might help if not it eliminates one possible cause <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" /></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Everything I print suffers the same slant at the same height.</p><p>Support suggested a fan on the board, but that didn&#039;t change anything when I tried.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Probably not IMO. You have a fan on your controller? Also, what happens if you print something else? Can you find something on thingiverse and print it? Might help to narrow down the issue.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Loosening the screws holding the wooden block that contains the Z-Axis nut has helped somewhat, but not completely.</p><p>Could it be the Z rod isn&#039;t straight and is moving the bed?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>The perpendicularness of the Z to X can be controlled by adjusting the white bearing blocks on the right end of the Y carriage, adjust the top one to set the angle then bring the bottom one up until just about touching the rod... check full travel of the rod for binding once set.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Would this explain the type of slant I&#039;m seeing? The first layers are perfect and after the slant the layers are perfectly aligned. It&#039;s just a section of about 10mm that experiences the slant.</p><p>If the rods aren&#039;t already perpendicular, is that something I can even fix? The holes for the rods are built into the frame.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Perhaps your x rods need to be perpendicular to your z rods. Easier said than done. Then bed needs to be on same plane as nozzle. In that order. May need to get creative with your adjustments.</p>]]></content>
