			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>More prints... and problems</p><p>Here is the mighty Godzilla:</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;item=7073" alt="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;amp;item=7073" /></span></p><p>Here is Baymax, and a perfect example of my current problem.&nbsp; I&#039;m getting a very pronounced Z Ribbing.&nbsp; It was as obvious on smaller models, or models with surface features, but on something like this with very smooth continuous surfaces, it&#039;s immediately visible.&nbsp; &nbsp;I&#039;ll probably start a topic in the help section next.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;item=7074" alt="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;amp;item=7074" /></span></p><p>And last but not least CATS.&nbsp; this really nice model shows the same identical issue as BayMax.&nbsp; Godzilla does too, but it&#039;s not as obvious as these 2 models dues to the many surface features.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;item=7075" alt="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;amp;item=7075" /></span></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<div class="quotebox"><cite>n2ri wrote:</cite><blockquote><p>I got the shack someplace b4. the Inn is bad in netfab, seems the 3 lights are not attached to anything, just floating in midair</p></blockquote></div><p>Yeah, I know.&nbsp; You should have seen all the errors it had to start with.&nbsp; Anyway, the errors reference are a bunch of invalid orientations.&nbsp; These are faces inside the model, and won&#039;t be a problem. </p><p>As far as the lamps are concerned, you can use NetFabb to extract them as separate parts and print them, then extrude a piece of filament to get a nice thin strand and use it to hang the lamps (or use string if you want them to dangle.)</p><p>The model slices fine with both Slic3r and Cura at .1mm and .3mm.&nbsp; At the current scale and .1mm resolution, and depending on the amount of support you&#039;ll use, it will take about 60+ hours to print this model ! <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/big_smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="big_smile" /></p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Here a few new models.&nbsp; I printed these a little while ago, but forgot to post them, so here they are.&nbsp; As you can tell, they&#039;re not finished, rather they had some basic cleanup and support removal.</p><p>The tall skinny guy (Han Solo)&nbsp; needs to have the legs reprinted.&nbsp; When I printed those parts I didn&#039;t have a fan running or a prime pillar, so the hot end lingered too long on the small parts and melted the material, creating those ripples.</p><p>The Satyr came out probably the best, after tweaking the support settings in Slic3r.&nbsp; The buzzard and the little kid are pretty cool too.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;item=3582" alt="http://www.soliforum.com/misc.php?action=pun_attachment&amp;amp;item=3582" /></span></p>]]></content>
