have you actually overtightened the y-axis motor and now bent slightly the link rod ? its very easy to do - to get the best circles I basically slacken the motor right off, then move it down till the loop belt is just 'tight' as in no visible slack. You need very little tension on this belt, as backlash issues are far more likely to be related to your main y-belts than the loop belt as long as its 'snug'.

I only ask because I know i've done it in the past before I got the method down pat.. apologies if you've got it right already - but do check because even a not-so-visible bend in the rod will cause issues

The part ends up with two sharp points on the circle around 11 o'clock and 5 o'clock. No matter where I put it on the tray. Can anyone help.

This does not show up on the g-code.

This does not show up on the stl either.

Please let me know.

EDIT: I just needed to really crank down on the Y motor to get sufficient tension on the belt to prevent backlash. It was loose from the factory and when doing the xy calibration I kept it the same tension when it should have been tightened.
