I can source a power supply in India no doubt, but my college won&#039;t agree to make an extra payment when the first order was not shipped satisfactorily. Isn&#039;t it the responsibility of the vendor to ensure proper shipment?</p><p>@IanJohnson I did that. The wire is well connected. I checked the voltage on the wires. 0 Volts. And this is before even a single run.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Before you order a new power supply, check the screw terminals on the board where the power cord connects to it.&nbsp; Maybe one of the wires came loose.</p>]]></content>

The microcontroller lighting up does not indicate proper power - 5v is received from the USB, but you need wall voltage to print.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>You could have a bad power supply there have been a few of these in addition to that the software driver may not be installed correctly causing the computer not to recognize the printer.</p><p>When you plug the USB cable from the computer to the printer do any of the lights on the main printer board light up?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Sorry for the lack of information. The printer doesn&#039;t power up at all when I plug it in. Neither does the computer recognize it when I connect it to the USB - I thought the microcontroller board was an Arduino which should get recognized without the adapter&#039;s power also; am I right there?</p><p>Should I try using a battery or something before I ship out the piece back to the guys at Solidoodle? The fact is that I have purchased this for my college and my college won&#039;t pay for shipping it back - the incharge says that they expect a satisfactory delivery.</p>]]></content>
