			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>The nice thing about the heater cartridge is it comes with a nice long cord.&nbsp; I ran mine all the way back to the board, so I don&#039;t need to worry about any bad connections.&nbsp; If I need to take the hot end out, the cartridge stays behind.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>As expected started looking at the wires and found a wire broken right at the solder joint.&nbsp; Going to just replace those thin OEM wires from the board to the hotend this weekend.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>yes in portland <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/big_smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="big_smile" /></p><p>Just never heard of Dorkbotpdx. may have to check it out <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/big_smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="big_smile" /></p><p>And after I posted that it seemed to be working, back to not working.&nbsp; Resistor still shows resistance.&nbsp; But it just wont heat up now.&nbsp; Repeteir shows that it is trying to send the command just get nothing from the hot end. I checked for voltage at the resistor and nothing.</p><p>Turns out I have a broken wire or solder joint at the 4pin ATX header I use for my hotend and thermistor connection at the side of my extruder.&nbsp; Work on it more tomarrow.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>never heard of that.</p><p>And once home used a multimeter and the resistor is getting 6.4ohms like it should. reconnected and now able to heat again.&nbsp; trying a print right now.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Was at a PDXLan party this weekend, so Have not had a chance to trouble shoot yet.&nbsp; But the hot end stopped heating. Have to get a look at it when I get home. I think the resistor stopped resisting..... Time to get a heater cartridge <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/big_smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="big_smile" /></p>]]></content>
