			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I still use RH as a frontend to Slic3r and GCode viewer, but use OctoPrint on a RasPi to print.&nbsp; I hacked <a href="http://bitquill.net/trac/wiki/3DPrinting/OctoUp">a simple GUI utility</a> to make the process easier.&nbsp; It will monitor a file or directory (for RH you just need to monitor composition.gcode, but I made it a little more general), alert you when a change is detected, and allow you to rename, upload, and start print in a single step.</p><p><span class="postimg"><img src="http://bitquill.net/trac/raw-attachment/wiki/3DPrinting/OctoUp/octoup-statusicon-tooltip.png" alt="http://bitquill.net/trac/raw-attachment/wiki/3DPrinting/OctoUp/octoup-statusicon-tooltip.png" /></span> <span class="postimg"><img src="http://bitquill.net/trac/raw-attachment/wiki/3DPrinting/OctoUp/octoup-window.png" alt="http://bitquill.net/trac/raw-attachment/wiki/3DPrinting/OctoUp/octoup-window.png" /></span></p><p>Experimental (with some stuff hardcoded for my own use, etc etc), but if you do use and have feedback, pls let me know.&nbsp; I may (or may not) develop this further, depending on time and interest.</p><p>Edit: Guess I should point out you need Python 2.7 with PyGTK already installed.. On GNOME, you need to add the system tray notification panel applet (which is different from the default icon notification area applet in more recent versions.. go figure).</p>]]></content>
