Hi,
I took a stab at trying to figure out what you were trying to do. See attached.

In short :
 - if you look "underneath" the model in SU, you'll see that it looks hollow. One edge needed to be selected and then "generate faces" (right click) was needed. Then, select that surface and the four edges of the rectangular hole, and then select "interface selection". At that point, you can highlight the hole and delete that part of the surface. Now you have a bottom on the model.

 - the hole and small tube need to be extruded down to this new surface and then the whole "interface selection" routine done again. At that point you actually have holes in the bottom of the model.

 - I measured the bottom as being 0.5 mm. So I highlighted the "top" of the floor and pulled it up the extra distance.

 - there was one other spot on the side where you had hole/port, but the interior surface was deleted.

 - I deleted all the nested groups so that it is just one collection of lines and surfaces. Looks like there are probably left over stray lines from the construction process, but I didn't try to simplify it further.

 - I've heard Rogaine can help rebuild some capital for investment.

Hope that helps ...

My little part has a floor that I want to be 1MM thick. However, when I pull it up, the plane comes up but there is no bottom surface like I expected. In other words, the printer just lays down a very thin single pass of filament instead of the 1MM build up. I've spent all afternoon trying different things to fix it and have no hair left to invest. Can you please tell me the basic stupid thing I am doing wrong? Drawing is attached.

Thanks, amigos y amigas.
