That one is ok but it doesn't tell you what type of problem it is.

Seriously, you are one of the masters of the game, far as I can see. I'm an old (retired) VB6/SQL developer so I know a bit about coding but the 3D stuff is all new. I'm trying not to get frustrated but it seems every tine I turn around I run into another problem. Being a noob, I try not to pester everyone and try to find answers myself. Look into the SmartDrop plugin. It'll fix minor uneven placement. Just make a flat surface at 0,0 then drop the object onto it.

Sorry, I guess I didn't click the Add File button. Anyway, it looks like I figured out that the Align To Plane button in Netfabb does this. Problem solved, I think.

I've been trying to use the Rotate tool but just got frustrated. I'll accept your help with this drawing but obviously need to get this down for myself.

You use the rotate tool in SketchUp.

Here's my problem:

How do I get the object to lie flat on the base plane? I have looked and looked for this answer, maybe I'm just dense (at least 50% fill!) but I do appreciate your tine and help. I've learned a lot just hanging out and readfing your posts and suggestions.
