Are there some simple instructions with wiring diagrams available?</p></blockquote></div><p>When looking at the back of the machine, the sanguino programming pins are on the top right.&nbsp; They are labeled and fit a standard ISP 6 pin layout.&nbsp; They worked for my STK500v2 programmer out of the box.</p><p>As long as you match up the pins and your programmer is configured correctly in the programmers.txt file, it should work.&nbsp; However, even if it doesn&#039;t, you can still run the avrdude commands from the command line.</p>]]></content>

Since you have an AVR programmer you should be able to a flash a new boot loader on, but we would also be willing to send you a new chip if this doesn&#039;t work out.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I fought and fought (for about 5 hours) with the firmware update until I decided to press the button first, then send the update, then DON&#039;T TOUCH THE BUTTON AGAIN.&nbsp; It doesn&#039;t look like it&#039;s doing anything, then says &quot;done&quot; Had to wait about 5 minutes but all was good after that. Give it a try and see what happens.</p><p>B</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Last I heard from you was August 8th. I replied to that one. Our system has been dropping e-mails pretty badly. Looking into, but I&#039;d never ignore e-mails.</p><p>You can PM me through here if you aren&#039;t getting prompt responses - again you shouldn&#039;t ever have to wait more than 48 hours for a customer service report - ever. </p><p>The problem in your case is that a small batch of Solidoodle&#039;s went out without boot loaders. If it&#039;s ok with you, we will ship you a new chip with the boot loader installed.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>As per par for the course all of my emails to Solidoodle regarding this issue resulted in no reply.&nbsp; This even after support posted in this thread for me to email them regarding this issue.</p><p>So I guess like most other issues we will all have to hope for help from the community.&nbsp; I myself am pretty clueless when it comes to the Solidoodle electronics so I am at a loss on what to do.</p><p>Heres hoping.... <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" /></p>]]></content>

We will have to confirm over e-mail. Shouldn&#039;t be a big deal - you might no at a new ATmega chip. 			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I&#039;ve seen a couple of these posts now and I think I saw John from Solidoodle support mention this as well.</p><p><em>I believe</em> that there&#039;s an issue with newer Solidoodles, that prevents them from being able to flash. Your best bet is probably to contact Solidoodle support and verify (and report back here if I&#039;m right).</p>]]></content>
