The wood piece applies pressure to the square acrylic spacer that sandwiches the mount. You would need to recreate this for the J-Head to mount correctly in the existing jigsaw - or you need to remove it from the existing OEM hot-end in a non-destructive way... (means unscrewing the brass barrel from the PEEK which some people even when heated have been unable to achieve)</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Make sure all connections are tight. Others have received replacement hotends that started oozing as soon as they started to use them. </p><p>You should recalibrate your PID settings.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Your prints look pretty good. <br />As far as replacement hot ends try doing a search on here for hotends for specifics. </p><p>Ones that I have seen:</p><p>OEM From Solidoodle<br />J-Head - May require slight mod to work but should be a direct replacement<br />E3D All metal - Moderate Modifications required (additional power for at least 1 fan (MUST DO), MK4 or Briggs extruder, search E3D for more)<br />PrintrBot Hot end - Moderate Modifications Required (MK4 Upgrade, new connectors on thermistor and hot end, z-tab extension, PEEK retainer, PTFE tubing and an exact-o knife for fine tuning)</p><p>There are others but these are some that stick out in my mind.</p>]]></content>
