is the numbers next to the arrows changing when you click on the arrows? if so then you need to connect to the real printer via printer settings.

I plugged the Solidoodle in to my windows 7 machine. The drivers installed without issue. I installed the preconfigured version on Repetier from the Solidoodle website. Repetier loads just fine. I clicked the "connect" button in Repetier, and see the word "idle" in the manual control tab. I clicked the arrows in the manual control tab, but get no motion from the printer.
