Is 1mm separation realistic?</p></blockquote></div><p>A lot depends on your settings of course, like MeshMoth was saying, but I have gotten some Emmett Gear Bearings to print with something like .2mm or less separation between the planets.&nbsp; However, the base layer was fused since I have a bit too much smooshing on my z-tab setting.&nbsp; </p><p>Some tips:<br />-Go with &lt; 50 mm/s outer perimeter speed<br />-Do all calibration steps for extrusion and backlash (including perfect circle procedure)<br />-Check your filament diameter periodically</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Depends how well your printer has been calibrated. Best thing to do is do a test and try it out for yourself. Everyone has been calibrating their own printers to different degrees so there isnt much of a standard. Just put a bunch of shapes next to each other at different distances to figure out which works best for your printer. I&#039;d probably use a bunch of cylinders since perfect circles are the hardest things to print.</p>]]></content>
