Bed temperature: ~95C, checked the temperature distribution with a non-contact thermometer, and if was +-3C.

Level bed: I've tried to level it, it may be slightly warped. But printing the cylinder in SW only works, as does printing cylinders in NW plus SW. SE plus SW fails, though.

Clean bed: That *may* be a problem. I ran another test with four smallish parts in the NE corner. Two of the pieces detached in their corners. I cleaned the bed with Isopropyl alcohol that I happened to have at home. Retried with perfect result. Will start cleaning the bed with the alcohol before each run from now on.

Have you checked to make sure the bed is level? Maybe that side of the bed is lower and you aren't getting as good of adhesion. You should also try to clean the surface with glass cleaner. Even the oils on your hands could keep something from sticking properly.

What was the bed temperature before you started printing? Maybe there is a slight draft flowing from that side of your machine. Try putting a piece of cardboard up to see if works better.

I've been trying to calibrate my SD3, with limited success.

My last test print, five 50 mm diameter cylinders with 2 mm walls placed like number five on a die. Three of the cylinder printed OK, but two (NW and SW) failed. It looks like the head snagged the print, even though I have a 1 mm Z lift.

The three OK ones had a very good adhesion to the bed.

Can someone please tell me why this happened?

The GCode file is 19 MB, don't think I'll upload it. If anyone is interested, it's here: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/244 … inder5.gco
