I can print something and spray paint over it with plastic paints I suppose.

However, PLA is more difficult to work with. Get to know your printer first. Get good with ABS before moving on.

So just picked where I thought best. I have quite some time till my SolidDoodle 2 comes in so have been looking into 1.75mm filaments, mostly ABS and a few specials.

- Gold colored filament- Some seems just yellow. Anyone tried a gold colored filament and which looks the most "Gold"?

- Flexible Filament - I found some over at makergeeks.com that didn't have a huge international shipping cost(I am from USA). I will get it soon but still waiting on my 3D printer hehe. The only thing I saw is that you need to Print way slow, like only 25% normal.

- Wood Filament- I have seen this a few places and on Amazon.  Anyone actually try this stuff?

- I saw a video with some Nylon Filament. Interesting for sure.

I am likely getting WAY ahead of myself since I never printed anything as of yet.
