			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>run the 1st layer stop the machine home it. Remove the 1st layer.&nbsp; if it removes real easy that a problem.&nbsp; Clean the bed with acetone that has a little abs plastic dissolved&nbsp; in it. <br />Measure the thickness of the layer and adjust the z stop in the back left inside. (each full turn is .5mm or .020 inches)</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Got the image attached - I wasn&#039;t clicking &#039;Add File&#039;, instead just submitting. Should be viewable now.</p><p>Same spool I&#039;ve always printed with. Bed is heated correctly, in fact I&#039;m heating it higher than before. In terms of first layer thickness, it looks objectively OK to me compared to what was working before and what I&#039;ve seen people have on here. </p><p>Although on that topic, is there an official way to set the z-offset for the first layer? I&#039;ve only ever read/seen a manual &#039;yep that looks right&#039; approach which doesn&#039;t really help when troubleshooting <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/smile.png" width="15" height="15" alt="smile" /> I&#039;ll try and flatten the first layer and see how it goes.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>No attachment.&nbsp; If your first layer is extruding too much, your second layer can drag through it and &quot;catch&quot; but it sounds like you&#039;ve been printing fine from your description.&nbsp; Have you changed spools recently?&nbsp; Are you sure your bed is still heating correctly?</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi Everyone,</p><p>So this problem only started recently - printer was working fine for months. Basically the first layer goes down great, but the second layer &#039;catches&#039; on the first somehow and rips it up (see attachment). I&#039;m using a glass bed with hairspray and the first layer is sticking really well. Bed is calibrated with digital displacement tool, printing at default .3 thickness. </p><p>Any advice as to the cause?</p>]]></content>
