I made in lathe from round shape and the fins were cut with metal saw blade ( did not have 1mm wide bit at hand ) while in lathe and spinning and the D shape was cut off with an angle grinder

Maybe ... it's about ~14 mm inside PEEK
I removed it because black ABS clogged the nozzle and when i applied pressure to fillament - saw the hot end turning - just like unscrewing from PEEK.
So i thought that the threads were ruined ... but they werent.

Cant say if there is oozing now beacuse of the radiator and i havent replaced the jigsaw jet
to look closer.

There's a number of similar hotends already available or launching on KS soon.

It's not as easy as it looks to make something reliable that works in a number of conditions robustly.

Are you still getting oozing from the peek?

thermistor was in original place on the nozzle.
Oozing happened since day one - not sure about actual temp.
Now the thermistor is inside new block and i lowered extruder temp to 190 .... still not sure about actual nozzle temp.

if you have peek oozing, then your hot end was probably getting too hot, and there may have been an issue with thermistor positioning?

using a heatsink is a pretty good idea

Old hotend block was never meant for heater element - so made new block wich should work better, also had some PEEK oozing so thought that if i made some radiator for that and eventually add fan to assist.

new mk4 printhead is allready printed for next upgrade
