Yeah that's exactly what it does. It extrudes maybe 15mm not sure than it bends. Also what is weird that I forgot to say is if the temperature is still on after the filament is out, slightly melted filament left in the barrel tends to creep out slowly from the top. Which I think that is from heat rising.

I have been having the same problem, with multiple hot ends. First was the hot end barrel and heater element from Qu-bd. Then my PEEK barrel broke when making sure it was snug against the barrel. Now I am having the same problems with a hot end I ordered on ebay. When you get it to extrude, does it start to print, then bend the plastic in loops between the peek and extruder motor?

I got the new barrel from makergear with both ends turned down which I think is the same type as the solidoodle type. Also I did think that the PEEK wasn't tight enough at first so I cleaned out the barrel and nozzle and tightened but it's still clogged. If I haven't cleaned the barrel/nozzle and I take the filament out and put it in it doesn't extrude at all. But if I clean it it extrudes some but hardly any and takes a lot of force to do so. Also I don't think any thermal past is in there because the barrel and nozzle are both new and also with my old barrel and nozzle (stock) I never used thermal paste and it had the same type of clog so that's why I think it's the PEEK.

Maybe someone else can help you determine if this is the problem. If this is the case Solidoodle should replace the parts at no cost other than time.

So first I had a clog a week ago and accidentally bent the barrel from getting it off. So i bought a new barrel and a new nozzle because i wanted to experiment with a .25mm nozzle. But I installed them both and I haven't printed a single thing because it's clog. Also I know the nozzle and barrel are the right temperature because I bought a cheap food thermometer and the temperature was around 230. The only conclusion I can come up with is that the PEEK is clogging but when I take it apart there is filament inside the barrel so there might just be a lot of friction I don't know.
