			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Long story short, I bricked my Davinci Color.</p><p>The color, (which I have sitting on table right next to me), <em>doesn&#039;t</em> use a SAMD chip. Or a AVR chip.<br />It uses .. CSRQ5310C25G.</p><p>A Qualcomm (<em>duh duh duh</em>) printer chip. The &quot;Quatro™ 5300 Printer Platform&quot;.</p><p>I don&#039;t think there is a open soruce firmware for it?</p><p>There is a switch onboard. In the &quot;normal&quot; direction the printer bootloops (due to the messed up printer firmware), and doesn&#039;t show up as any sort of a USB device. However it is able to initialize some stepper drive, and spin the door latch.</p><p>In the &quot;alternative&quot; direction the printer doesn&#039;t initialize itself, but shows up as a USB &quot;inferno-printer&quot;, without a associated COM port.</p><p>The Color have two USB ports, &quot;host1&quot; and &quot;host2&quot;. Can I like, plug in a USB with firmware to have it flash itself?</p>]]></content>
