My name is Tim and I have designed a robot named MAKI for which I have launched a Kickstarter project to fund. One cool feature about this project is that MAKI can be replicated using a desktop 3D printer and off-the-shelf hobby robotics. A prototype of the robot has already been built and tested, I am just raising funds to increase it's functionality and hopefully if enough is raised, prototype and market other platforms.
