This coordinate entry can be used with all of sketchup's tools and functions, while it is not autocad it is useful for lots of 3d printing tasks.

What is the best way to create designs from scratch? I've tried with Sketchup a little, but it doesn't seem to offer the best control. It takes a while to get a circle the size I want it to be, and doesn't have very good measuring tools so I know how large things really are. I have trouble resizing anything after I drop it. I wish I had something more scientific like autocad. Is there a good software to add engraving to objects? Like if I found a model of a trophy I could put words on it?
