This is my 1st 3d printer
I have zero knowledge with printing-software settings
As now, I use the ipad app: XYZmaker 3d kit
I´m able to download and add .stl files from ex. thingverse, and smaller things prints fine.
If things get to tall , my printer goes "nuts" , because the material, somehow gets pushed in the late process (above 80%)

I have noticed 2 settings in the ipad app: " Raft" and "support" before printing

Do I need to check these?

Could someone tell me if this ios app is allright for a newb like me, or can I benefit better from another?
