FEP are consumables and you should always check their &quot;health&quot; when the vat is empty. You can also see if your FEP is getting old if you see linework at the bottom of your prints....this could be from settling and/or significant wear.</p><p>Been using a Mars for close to a year. hope this helps.</p>]]></content>

But if you ever even suspect there could be a floater it is best to strain than to take a chance on a puncture or worse cracking the LCD.</p>]]></content>

I am still using my stock FEP from 2 years ago.</p>]]></content>
