My kit also didn’t come with resistors and a 60amp power supply. If you are giving them out I’ll take one too.

He has posts about using this and modding the filastruder back in 2018. Sounds like user error now. Oh and he modded some printers so hes a "legit" printer builder. Maybe we can get some hints from him eh Wardjr?

I don't understand what you're saying here. The heater is 35 watts, not 35 amps. You definitely do not need a 45 amp power supply. 5 amps is enough, and you were provided with one rated at 6 amps.

I don't understand what 230k ohm resistor you're referring to here. There is no resistor in a thermocouple.

My kit looked like some one opened it and never put back all the parts Oh the hardware was there but no wires or connectors... I was lucky that I build 3D printers so I have all the parts...

That is possible, since you live in Canada, customs likely opened the shipment to inspect it. If they forgot to put something. back in, if you'd let us know we could have sent it, but your kit was delivered 2 years ago, seems odd to only just bring this up now.

No, you do not need a 60 amp power supply to run a Filastruder.

All I want from Filastruder now is a $116.00CND proper power supply which they should have supplied with the kit. that they charged me 229.00US for.

You were already provided with an appropriate power supply, it is there in your photos.

Finally someone from Filastruder got back to me after almost 3 years. of posts going unanswered. Tom told me the main Heater is 35Watts and quick calculation 5amp motor plus 3 amp controller plus 2 fans at 1 amp and a 35Amp heater min of a 45Amp supply and what did I have with the kit a 12VDC 6Amp brick no wonder why it would never heat up there was just enough power to run the motors fans and thermal coupler and control....put when ever it was running it would jam and stop after 4 min run time...
OMGD I cut the 230K Ohm resistor off when I clipped off the plug. Your supposed to just jam the plug under the prongs of pin 1 and 3.... this is why it will not keep temp no matter how big my power supply is....
