Just trying to think simple and out side the XYZ box. Mine is one that is locked down and it wouldn' t let me print right out of the box with out updating the firmware to the latest version. So if can't downgrade and I have PLA from all over on order I hate to take it back and get an opensouce printer but IF i can't figure this out in the next couple of days that is exactly what is going to happen. I have seceral old andriod phones laying around that are NFC capable why not just use on to give the printer what it wants.
