Do you mean a layer fan? You never want a fan blowing on the nozzle. The fans you see on may printers are blowing on the layer below the nozzle, and not actually the nozzle.

As for installing, all you need is a mount which can be printed and connect it to power with a switch. There is no way to software control it.
