[danny] I live in South Korea. Upper guys are sickening me day by day.

[dubbsd, Ghostling] That might be a good idea cuz shipping is relatively chip. But I don't have proper skill for filling compound and actually I'm not a machine person. So I decided to order Solidoodle made one rather than bear possible $599 waste.

I don't particularly like the idea that you fill in the hour glass shape with thermal paste. Thermal paste is ok, but you're meant to use it sparingly, it's supposed to fit imperfections, not be an answer to a bad idea.

So with this resistor idea we're using a 3w resistor at more than ten times it's rating, pretending that the metal block is a good enough heat sink, hoping that splashing loads of thermal paste in the hole will make up for using the wrong part in the wrong way.

Stupidly enough, using a heater as in a proper heater not just a resistor, is only a few pence more expensive...

I looked up several documents about hot end problem. When I swapped both plug for heating(end/bed), bed got heated. So I concluded the main board is fine. Then I peeled insulation thingy covers hot end and disconnected heat core cable and found this. (in the follow video). And I was ensured there is no broken cable either.

As it revolves some white powder drops. Was it clay that hold the heating material? It's $599 machine but it's kinda embarrassing.

I have to order new heat core unless there is any other option.
Heat core itself is $15 but shipping is $36.
Help me.
