Another way would be to do this is to interrupt the step pin before it gets to the driver, and use an arduino nano to convert the steps to the steps you need to use the Titan. It's complicated and you loose the main benifit of using the Titan, which was the higher resolution provided by the gearing and degrees per step of the motor.

I am pretty sure you can't use the aero on a stock machine as you need access to the firmware to be able to change the steps per mm on the extruder motor. You would need to flash it with Repetier firmware but you lose your scanner and engraver capabilities.

Hi guys,
My name is Nick and I work for the Technological Educational Institute of Crete in Greece. So , we have a XYZ Da Vinci as I say on the title and we ordered a Titan Aero hot end and the extruder of its. So we put it on successfully but we can not print.. The thing is that it doesn`t extrude with the speed that the printer needs. So we end up with a failed part. The stepper motor from XYZ has 1.8 Deg per step and the Titan has 0.9 deg per step. So after we tryed to print with the Titan Motor and we saw that it failed we put the XYZ`s motor but that was also a failure. We use the original firmwares and as a slicer we use the XYZ`s app XYZware PRO. We changed the extrusion ratio to 200% but it also failed. Down you will see 3 excables with the XYZ motor.
Please we need help to find that solution.
Thank you very much.
