The wire connector in your photo is specifically TE Part # 179228-3
You'll have to buy the contacts separately and crimp them onto your wires as well which is a bit of a PITA.


Since the connectors are a generic 2mm pitch, you can alternatively just desolder the TE connector from the small optical endstop PCB and solder on a new 3-Pin JST-PH 2mm right angle connector which are much more easily available. Just be careful not to melt the tiny enclosure of the sensor.

You are very correct kind sir, after ordering the ones Carl suggested, when they arrived clearly they were wrong, after much more searching. I came across these

they are very rare here in the UK but I now have 30 of them. My optical sensor is now fully working again...

This is causing me some confusion.
I am trying to identify the connectors on both ends of the Optical EndStop Cable.
I believe the one at the motherboard end is a PH but the other end of this cable which connects to the endstop and as a single triangular locator and three pins. I have ordered PHR-3 but these do not fit.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
