Just measure the black tray the glass sits in. Just allow room for it to drop in rather than need to be forced in.

Just make sure the software works on your printer prior to upgrading.

If you're satisfied with the performance of your printer with the current firmware, leave it as-is... my opinion. smile

With the APP for my phone "NTAG Refill Tool" I can use Ntag213 from Ebay and any filament.
With the new XYZprint version 1.3.0 I can control print speed, layer height, and many more settings.
