After months of tweaking and mods, I have the things printing nicely, and finding the time to deal with the translation isn't easy, almost like starting over....  Well from half way anyway.

Must be a different varient of Cura.  No preferences along the top.

That's what I have.  I made a screen capture, but looks like I have to find a place to put it up on the web.

Mine is Cura 3.6 straight from Ultimakers website. It is their software after all.

Where do I find those settings?  I take an STL file that I designed in Solidworks.  Read it into IIIP Cura III.  Cura III makes the gcode file.  I've read lots of comments about slicers / settings, but don't see how to get to them.

Adding this, just in case it isn't clear, I can make a new gcode, moving the location of the same parts, and it will work normally.  Even the parts that were made by the file that throws the error, look complete.  They don't have overhangs, if the rafts they are on print, nothing on the part goes outside the margin of the raft.  They are no where near the height limit either.

So in Cura have tried clicking preferences at the top of the window, then select settings? In that list you can select all the settings you want to be visible and have access to. In addition if you click printers then to the right click machine settings you can set up all the information about your machine. As for slicer settings, those are in the main window on the right. By default the Recommended tab is always set. But you can select the custom tab and there you will find every slicer setting you can imagine.

If a file does this once, it does it every time I run it.  If a file doesn't do this, it never does it.

Is the slicer and host both configured with the correct machine dimensions. They both are set seperatly but need to be the same.
