On the CTC they should blow towards the heatsinks behind the fans. They usually have a mark on the side with an arrow showing rotation and wind direction as well.

Da Vinci miniMaker and Jr both have fan blows out to the front of the printer which is rare on other brand of printers. CTC dual fan blows towards back of the printer (or towards extruder motor).

I also have a CTC dual and the extruder fans suck in from the front of the printer, is this right ?
The reason I ask is that I have had the CTC extruders to bits and was wondering if I've assembled them the wrong way round, I am having problems with top layers on prints. Can anyone with a CTC dual confirm which way the fans blow ?
