even if there are actual prints does not mean the file(s) are without error.

I have been working on printing Seven, the articulated dragon and there are multiple prints of it by both the person that created it, and by others... yet the files are loaded with errors - holes, degenerative faces, and even some invalid orientations - and there are a LOT of files for this thing.

Because I am scaling it up to 300% of its normal size, I am going through each piece and fixing all the little issues that become big issues due to the scaling. Yes, it is time consuming, but it is something worth doing if you really want to print something - and I really want to print this dragon.

Thingiverse and other such sites originated as a 3d art dump. So many of the creators there have no clue what it takes to make an object and it's files printable.

I know this 1st hand after dozens of bad files downloaded and attempted to print when issues caused failed prints.

I went to thingiverse and found what I believe to be the original file the OP was working with, and yes, it does have issues (both of them)

Problem solved. As requested, I attach the stl file.

The issue was not the printer or the software. It was the object itself.
As proposed in the replies, I downloaded and installed RH. And when I opened the file with RH, a message was displayed mentionning that the object was broken and that I should visit "https://tools3d.azurewebsites.net/" to fix it.

I did it, I receive a .3mf file and I tried to installed it with RH. But another problem come from RH. Every time a new layer was done, it pull and then push back the filament. My solidoodle 3 is "old" (bough in 2013) and the extruder does not support it for a long time: after a couple of minutes, the filament did not followed the back and forth. The extruder did not push the plastic on the bed anymore.

So, I finally find a solution to convert a .3mf file to a .stl file and I use SoliPrint again. Now, everything is working.

If I summarize the complete workload:
1. I open RH and open the .stl file. If I do not see any warning message, I go to the point 4. Otherwise, I continue to the second step.
2. I repair the file and receive back a .3mf
3. I convert the .3mf to a stl
4. I print the file

I have a Solidoodle 3 and I print using the Soliprint software vestion 1.3.0.
When I try to print one of the part of the space shuttle (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:10228 - ShuttleOrbiterAft.stl), the bed start 3cm lower than the extruder when the first layer start printing. Of course, I have to stop the print.
I do not have any issue with the other parts.

I suppose it is an issue in the GCode but I do not know how to recover it and how to update it.

Does someone know how to fix this?
