			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>What infill ratio are you using? You might be running too hot for .1 mm layers, as the extruder is melting the layers already laid down. I&#039;ve found I need a fan for solid layers (and an enclosure to ensure you are blowing already warm air). The fill ratio needs to be 50% or better to give enough support for those solid layers that get laid on top. </p><p>.3mm should be fine for this part though.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>I had this same problem. Do the flow rate calibration to make sure enough plastic is getting extruded and add a few more top solid layers. </p><p>Any particular reason you are printing that part @ 1mm other than just to see how it looks.</p>]]></content>

			<title type="html"><![CDATA[Holes in surface]]></title>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Hi folks,</p><p>after messing up my brand new Solidoodle 3 (see: soliforum.com/post/16463/#p16463) I had to recalibrate the whole device. As I am a complete newby in 3d printing this is kind of a challenge for me <img src="https://www.soliforum.com/img/smilies/wink.png" width="15" height="15" alt="wink" /></p><p>I followed the instructions on the Solidoole wiki (Layer, Print Bred and Extruder calibraition, no flow rate calibration, yet) but the results are kind of a mixed bag. The worst thing is that the surfaces of the printed objects are not solid and there are holes in them. I have attached a picture that illustrates my results.</p><p>The printed object is part of the Dial Indicator for my Solidoodle. I tried to calibrate the the print bred with the paper method and I am quite confident it is not perfect as it is. </p><p>Regarding the settings I used pretty much the standard settings ( 200° Extruder, 95° Print Bed and .1mm slicer)</p><p>Thanks for suggestions,<br />Elias</p>]]></content>
