			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>no, it should have been 6 ohms.</p><p>the fact that it was 3 likely means that the insulation on the nichrom inside teh heatcore failed and it shorted to itself, then draws more current and heats more (and too fast) and the insulation fails even fast over the rest of the wire, and the solder joints fail also...</p><p>if thousl be 6Ohm.</p><p>drawing 2 Amps, for 24W power.</p><p>the stock power supply is able to power a bigger heater.</p>]]></content>

			<content type="html"><![CDATA[<p>Any body know? I measured the voltage ,it&#039;s at ~12.3v .Before the resistor fried&nbsp; it measured&nbsp; 2.6 ohm. Is that about right or not?</p>]]></content>
