<![CDATA[SoliForum - 3D Printing Community — Upside down and back-to-front images]]> 2018-01-24T22:59:42Z PunBB https://www.soliforum.com/topic/17065/upside-down-and-backtofront-images/ <![CDATA[Re: Upside down and back-to-front images]]> I've run the Pi using raspbian and enabled the camera through it.  The image shown this way is upside down but doesn't have the left-right swap I see with freelss.  I guess this needs to be sorted before repeating the check to see if the lasers are the right way around.  Are there any switches in the set-up to correct this?  I can't see any.
BTW I'm running freelss v1.4 which I downloaded around Jan 8th 2018.  I've tried to do an update as per https://github.com/hairu/freelss but the running software still reports v1.4.  Is the upside down image a function of this software?

]]> https://www.soliforum.com/user/18189/ 2018-01-24T22:59:42Z https://www.soliforum.com/post/141961/#p141961 <![CDATA[Re: Upside down and back-to-front images]]> Thanks Carl_m.  I'm not aware of any control to invert the camera image.  I think the lasers are correct because if I hit the left laser toggle then the left laser turns on/off. - same for the right laser.  In any case that would not effect the initial un-scanned camera image (the first image).  I'll have to work out how to look at a camera image while running raspbian and not freelss to see if that is inverted.

I am having some issues with the camera:  all images are upside down and back-to-front.

When I scan then the virtual turntable inserted into the scanned results is at the bottom of the image but the image is upside down.  The black 'cap' at the top is some artifact from the physical scanner's turntable.

The image is of a box of tea.  The black on gold text says TWININGS.  If in the camera test page when I toggle a laser the appropriate one turns on/off which suggests to me the lasers are wired the correct way around.
Any ideas anyone?
